The AVT Linestopping Sleeve features a cover plate, with gasket and O-ring to seal out any foriegn materials once the fitting is in the ground. The completion plug has an O-ring which to ensure a stable seal between the completeion plug and the fitting. The completion plug has a staight lead-in to prevent any cocking during assembly. The recessed flange's lead-in chamfer design provides guides for the rubber linestop plug and completion plug. The wedge-type gasket is designed with an added dual-pressure sealing feature, combined with a tough waffle mat. The sleve also features a 3/4" NPT test plug to verify all seals are secure prior to tapping. |
